-
How can my child join the OC Bombers?
We hold our annual tryouts (usually the third week of July) that you can attend. If you miss the annual tryouts, you can request a private tryout by contacting the owner, Gina Marchese to see if there’s any room for an additional player.
-
What equipment does my child need to play?
Your child will need a glove, face mask (age-specific required), bat, softball pants, softball socks, cleats, and sneakers or turf shoes.
-
How are teams organized, and when does the season start?
Our teams start over each year. Tryouts are in July, and everyone, including returning players, needs to come to tryouts. Our season ranges from August to August.
-
What is the cost of registration, and are there any additional fees?
There are no fees for tryouts. The cost for each season varies slightly. You will need to contact Gina Marchese for exact amounts.
Fees are broken down into six monthly payments from August to January. This includes membership fees (USSSA, USA, etc.). There is a fee per player for our tournaments and indoor training with trainers for five months. Indoor training includes two hour of team practice, one hour of pitchers and catchers, one hour of hitting, one hour of speed and agility, and one hour of positional play.

Yes. If you’d like to sponsor an athlete, contact Gina Marchese.
The cost is between $2,500 and $3,000. We have families going through hardship but would still like to provide extracurricular activities for their children, so any amount of support is appreciated!

We have monthly fundraising opportunities to help lower tuition costs for all individual players.
All you have to do is get in touch with us and we’ll fill you in on all the details!
